The Sacopee Community Forum strives to raise  timely and provocative issues through discussions, speakers and films.  They meet on the first Thursday of the month, 7 PM, at the Horizons building at South Hiram Elementary School.  All are welcome.

 

On Sunday, March 22, 7 PM,  the film ORIGINS will be shown.  “Through a series of explorations and interviews with many experts in the fields of food science and ecology, this film shows how all the choices we make in our life matter.” (1 hr., 47  in.)

 

On Thursday, March 26, 7 PM, the film GMO OMG will address the question: “How do Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) affect our children, the health of our planet, and our freedom of choice?” (87 min.)

 

Both films will be shown at the Good Health Grocery, Rte. 25, Porter Village, on the left 2.4 miles west of the Kezar Falls Bridge.  Good Health Grocery will have food for sale starting at 5:30.
