According to Tori Lee Jackson, a Maine Cooperative Extension Educator and Associate Professor of Agriculture and Natural Resources, several individuals throughout Maine have been working to formulate future opportunities for veterans in Maine to pursue agricultural endeavors.
A course entitled, “So You Want to Farm in Maine for Military Veterans” will be instructed by Maine Cooperative Extension educators, Tori Lee Jackson and Caragh Fitzgerald.
The course will take place on Tuesdays from March 17 through April 21,
2015, at the University of Maine at Augusta. For additional details,
