16th Annual Home Garden Flower Show Presents May Fair

May 13 – 15, 2016

Rated as a Top 20 event in Maine by Yankee Magazine, you don’t want to miss all the sights, sounds and smell of spring at this year’s Home Garden Flower Show, May Fair, May 13, 14 and 15! In its 16th year, the Home Garden Flower Show: May Fair is back with over 300 vendors throughout seven different buildings and venues spanning over 5 acres of outdoor space. Once again you will be able to experience live demonstrations during the famous

“Meet the Chefs” Cooking Series and several demonstrations from vendors sharing their talent of rug, hooking, chalk painting, metal craft and more! There will be an abundance of opportunities to sample various products, meet with vendors and access great deals right at the show! The show takes place the weekend after Mother’s Day. Pair your tickets with one of the great lodging deals being offered by the Country Inns of the White Mountains and you’ll have the perfect gift for mom or grandma!

After such a warm reception to last year’s addition of a Craft Beer, Wine and Cheese Pavilion, the Pavilion will be back with your favorite local craft breweries, cheesemakers and wineries. The Pavilion will provide you with an apres-like escape from the excitement of the show, where show attendants can sample craft brews, wines

and meads will pairing them with your favorite cheeses. An exciting new addition to this year’s Craft Beer, Wine and Cheese Pavilion will be the tantalizing  wood-fired aroma of two mobile brick ovens. Guests will be able to sample various types of homemade breads and focaccia made fresh right on site!

Two unique areas of the show that allow attendants to shop for great deals, include the Garden Marketplace and the Farmer’s Market. Guests will be able take advantage of purchasing great products within the Garden Marketplace, including plants, shrubs, flowers, seedlings

and garden supplies of all kinds. Another great “take-home” experience,“Meet the Chefs” Cooking Series, returns to the show with this year’s theme focused on “Sizzlin’ Summer Recipes.” During the cooking series, attendants can attend a live presentation by a local chef and walk away with a great stash of recipes that are bound to wow your friends and family!

Thinking of joining this year’s line-up of amazing vendors? The show’s e-newsletter boosts on online following of over 4,000 subscribers and strong online presence through both its website and Facebook page. What if it rains?
Our show celebrates Spring, and into each Spring, some rain must fall. Sometimes, it falls during our show. With seven buildings to explore inside and our outside displays, we suggest – good walking shoes, recycled bags to carry your purchases and an umbrella – just in case! Either way, we look forward to seeing you at the show.
