During July 2013, members of the St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church from Grand Blanc, Michigan (www.stchrisgrandblanc.org) spent a week in Maine enjoying a Wonder Voyage (www.wondervoyage.com). They spent several hours volunteering their time in the Shaker Herb Garden at Sabbathday Lake.

The Shaker Village at Sabbathday Lake is fortunate to have Betsey-Ann Golon as the herbalist in charge of the Shaker Herb Garden.  She shares a great deal of expertise from her varied and extensive gardening background in the workshops that she conducts and the beautiful gardens that she maintains.  She also leads tours of the gardens and oversees the internship program.
