Super Chilly Farm offers a Heritage Apple CSA. Last year the cost
for a share was $125. It included five distributions of rare, endangered, or unusual eating and cooking apples. Pick up locations for the apples included the farm in Palermo, and locations in Waterville, Freedom, Belfast, and Mount Desert Island. The CSA distribution took place every
other week from the second week of September to the second week of November. There were five deliveries in total. Of the course of the season
participants received twenty or more varieties. Information about the
apples and recipes are included.
